Participating in "No Historical Backspin" Antifascist Benefit
Right now, in Holland, such strange bedfellows as hooligans, queers, neo-cons and feminists are forced to unite to fight religious fascism carelessly imported from abroad... In Eastgermany's Saxonia however, events seems to be less confusing: Victim and aggressor still know their place and don't morph or fluctuate in such a politically uncorrect manner as they do in the Netherlands: Fascists are white, their ideology is racial, not religious, and their victims are blameless "foreigners", preferably coloured. (But as there are hardly any of those in Eastern Germany, xenophobia already plays a part in the attitude towards people from the next town..) In places like historical Pirna -the famous town of the Cnaletto painting- a straightforward hatred of anything different rules, ideologically simplistic in comparison to the dutch situation.
