Bluegrass Harmonica Seminar Being Planned
Cara Cooke informs us that The Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica (SPAH) (www.spah.org ) will include a bluegrass harmonica seminar and a gospel harmonica seminar at their annual convention this year in Kansas City, Mo. Both Howard Levy (www.levyland.com) and Charlie McCoy (www.charliemccoy.com) will be in attendance and performing. The bluegrass harmonica seminar is going to be headed by Charlie McCoy, P. T. Gazell (www.ptgazell.com), Tulsa Read (www.harmonicaonline.com), and Cara Cooke (www.cyberharp.isonfire.com). There appears to also be movement to include Tony Eyers (www.harmonicatunes.com), George Thacker ("Bluegrass Harmonica"), or Lonnie Joe Howell, but I don't think any of them are confirmed as of yet.) ...
