WAR YEARS: BRITAIN & WORLD WAR II

This series tells the stories of the familiar men and the famous battles of World War as well as the lesser-known stories of those who stayed at home to endure the Blitz and to enlist in the Home Guard, with no weapons to fight off the feared invasion. The mood of fear and determination of Britain in it's darkest hours is underscored by some of that era's greatest music.
